Bills paid from any phone.

Send each bill by SMS with a pay link and its own account number, match every transfer to the right customer, and know the moment a bill is paid or overdue. Customers on feature phones pay by transfer from their bank's own USSD service, with no app and no data.

The rail mix

Your customers pay from the phone in their pocket.

Bill payers include customers on feature phones with no data, customers who pay from a bank app or their bank's USSD menu, and customers who pay in cash. PediWave gives each bill a pay link and its own account number, so every customer has a way to pay without leaving home. PediWave's own USSD codes are coming.

Highlighted: the rails billers rely on. USSD, agent cash and mobile money are Coming.

Send bills any phone can pay

Every bill arrives with ways to pay that need no data.

Bill a customer by phone number alone. Each cycle PediWave sends an SMS with the amount, a pay link and an account number for transfer (a USSD code follows when USSD launches), reminds the customer on the due date and two days later, and tells your system the moment the bill is paid. If it stays unpaid past the grace period, you receive a past-due event and decide whether to suspend the service.

Match every transfer

Transfers land on the right bill, even when the amount is wrong.

Each bill gets its own account number, so a transfer identifies the customer without a reference. Underpayments are held until the rest arrives, overpayments are refunded automatically or accepted by your policy, and part payments are recorded on the bill. A permanent account number for each customer is Coming: not yet available

Take cash and mobile money Coming

Customers who pay in cash can pay at an agent near them.

Each bill can carry an agent code. The customer hands the cash and the code to an agent, the agent confirms it in the agent app, and the bill is marked paid at once; the agent remits the day's cash at close. Mobile money prompts for MTN MoMo, Airtel Money and M-Pesa follow the same bill.

Questions billers ask

Do customers need a smartphone or mobile data?
No. Every bill carries its own account number, which customers pay by transfer from their bank app or their own bank's USSD menu on any phone, and a pay link. PediWave's own USSD codes and paying cash at an agent are Coming.
Can a customer pay part of a bill?
Yes. A bill can accept part payments by any rail it offers. Each payment is recorded against the bill, and the bill is marked paid when the total arrives.
What happens when a customer does not pay on time?
PediWave sends reminders on the due date and two days later. After the grace period you set, the bill is past due and your system receives an event; you decide whether and when to suspend the service. When the customer pays, your system is told at once so you can restore it.
Can PediWave issue prepaid tokens or reactivate a decoder?
No. PediWave collects the payment and tells your system the moment it is confirmed, with a signed webhook. Issuing the token, reactivating the decoder or restoring the line stays in your system, so your service rules stay yours.
What happens when a payment rail is down?
When a rail has an outage, it is marked degraded and hosted payment pages stop offering it until it recovers. Every SMS bill carries both a pay link and an account number, so customers always have a second way to pay.
